Michigan Football: Outback Bowl exposes Brandon Peters as not ready

For most of the Outback Bowl, things seemed to finally be going the way of Michigan football. The Wolverines were forcing turnovers and led 19-3 late in the third quarter.

However, as the Wolverines drove for another touchdown, one that could have put Michigan football in front 26-3, Karan Higdon fumbled. Then it all went downhill from there.

The Gamecocks scored a few plays later and it was 19-9. After a fumble by Sean McKeon on a weird third-down call, South Carolina’s Jake Bentley threw another touchdown, trimming the advantage to 19-16.
