It’s no secret that Michigan Football struggled mightily on the offensive side of the ball in 2017. As a result of the poor performance, the Wolverines and former offensive coordinator Tim Drevno mutually parted ways. Michigan then ended up adding Ed Warinner and former Florida Head Coach, Jim McElwain to its offensive staff. Warinner was named the offensive line coach and McElwain was hired to handle the wide receiver duties.
After all the coaching changes and time that’s passed, you’d think the Wolverines would’ve named an offensive coordinator by now. To the surprise of many, Jim Harbaugh has yet to name the offensive coordinator, and may not at all.
