What a difference an opponent makes.
After struggling to muster much of anything offensively a week ago against a stout Notre Dame defense, Michigan's offense is having a field day against Western Michigan.
The Wolverines have cracked the Broncos both by land and by air, racking up 301 yards of first-half total offense on their way to a 35-0 halftime lead here at Michigan Stadium.
First half observations:
— Michigan went with the same starting offensive line again this week, as expected. And, as expected, the Wolverines did their best to build up some confidence in the ground game a week after struggling with just about everything.
