Michigan football not playing this fall, still ranked No. 16 in AP Top 25 preseason poll

Michigan football might not be playing this fall.

But the Wolverines were still included in the preseason AP Top 25 Poll that was released Monday afternoon, ranked No. 16.

The poll, which is compiled weekly by the votes of a panel of 62 sports writers and broadcasters, included teams from conferences that announced the cancelation or postponement of their seasons.

Michigan is one of six ranked teams from the Big Ten, which was the first Power Five conference to postpone all fall sports and supposedly plans to play football in the winter or spring.
