Michigan football has named its captains for the 2023 season and all six players are senior status.
The list includes Blake Corum (senior, running back), Zak Zinter (senior, offensive line), Trevor Keegan (fifth-year senior, offensive line), Kris Jenkins (senior, defensive tackle), Mike Sainristil (fifth-year senior, defensive back) and Michael Barrett (sixth-year senior, linebacker) — all of whom are among the group of players who debated going to the NFL after last season, but decided to return for a final year in Ann Arbor.
Players are selected by a team vote.
Corum returns after perhaps the best season by a U-M running back in the past decade.
