Michigan football has filled its coaching vacancies.
The Wolverines hired Bob Shoop as safeties coach and Brian Jean-Mary as linebackers coach on Saturday, filling the vacancies left open by Chris Partridge and Anthony Campanile.
U-M also announced running backs coach Jay Harbaugh will be special teams coordinator.
Jean-Mary is a Charlie Strong disciple who spent the past 10 seasons in Strong's staffs at Louisville, Texas and South Florida, where he served as defensive coordiantor. He was Strong's recruiting coordinator at Texas, where helped sign three top-15 classes. His defensive units "were consistently among the nation's best in turnovers created, tackles for loss and pass defense," according to a Michigan news release.
