Quintin Somerville, a four-star defensive end, won't be playing for Michigan football.
Somerville, who hails from Scottsdale, Arizona, spurned the Wolverines on Wednesday to sign with UCLA, he announced on the first day of the NCAA's early signing period began.
Somerville was one of the highest-ranked defenders in the Wolverines' 2021 class and had been committed since June.
He was ranked No. 219 overall and the No. 16 strong-side defensive end, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Somerville was the third-highest ranked defensive recruit in Michigan's class entering Wednesday. He also was the second defensive recruit to spurn the Wolverines, joining four-star linebacker Branden Jennings, who flipped to Maryland.
