Defensive lineman Ron Johnson. the four-star Michigan football commit from the 2016 class, has decided to pursue a future outside of the Wolverines program.
SEC Network analyst Cole Cubelic reported via Twitter that Ron Johnson has entered his name into the Transfer Portal.
Coming out of Camden, New Jersey, Johnson was a four-star recruit and was ranked as the No.8 football player out of the state and No. 22 at his position. Nationally, Ron was ranked No. 296.
During his three year tenure, Johnson did not see the field and the 2019 season didn’t seem to be a breakout year for Johnson who could have two years left of eligibility left at the new school he chooses.
