Michigan football junior linebacker Jordan Anthony entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal Wednesday, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.
A former four-star prospect from Silver Spring, Maryland, Anthony appeared in nine games and was on the field for 93 defensive snaps this season, contributing six tackles.
Anthony became increasingly marginalized after Michigan's 35-14 loss to Wisconsin on Sept. 21. Around that time, sophomore Cam McGrone emerged as a key figure in the front seven, taking the place of injured starter Josh Ross.
