Michigan football fans were probably freaking out when they heard Don Brown was interviewing for the Temple head coaching job Wednesday. Well, everything turned out alright, as Miami defensive coordinator Manny Diaz wound up taking the job.
While Diaz getting the job seemed like good news for Michigan football fans simply because it meant Brown would be back, there is another reason why it’s significant for the Wolverines and that’s because it should give them an even better chance at flipping 4-star linebacker Anthony Solomon from Miami.
Solomon, who is committed to Miami, but has an official visit scheduled at Michigan Friday, was recruited to the Hurricanes by Diaz, who is now leaving the program.
