Recently, the Michigan football program has tried to make more inroads recruiting in the state of Arizona and for the Wolverines, that effort has already paid dividends with the 2020 class.
That was with the commitment of 2020 three-star quarterback JD Johnson. However, Michigan football is aiming much higher for 2021, as it appears to be an early favorite for one of the top overall players in that class, in five-star defensive end Quintin Somerville.
Somerville, who is out of Scottsdale, Arizona, is a 6-foot-3, 210-pound defensive end that is ranked as the No.
