PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Ultimately, Jim Harbaugh says, the players make the choice.
No. 4 Michigan entered Piscataway on Saturday as a 37-point favorite, without the motivation of revenge or a national stage, and plenty of reasons to view the Big Ten's worst football team, Rutgers, as exactly that.
But championship teams don't do that. They do something else.
"The players get to make the decision on what level they play on," Harbaugh said Saturday night.
