Part of Michigan football‘s resurgence to relevance has been a defense that isn’t allowing opponents to do much of anything.
The Wolverines are allowing 210 yards per game (No. 2 in FBS), 9.3 points per game (T-No. 1 in FBS), 64.7 rushing yards per game (No. 2 in FBS), and 145.9 passing yards per game (No. 6 in FBS).
So yeah, it’s been a hell of a season so far for the defense.
It’d be easy to point out some of the monsters on the defensive line—like Willie Henry or Chris Wormley—but a strong front was completely expected heading into this season.
