Michigan Football: Josh Gattis is signed, now he needs to deliver

While the Michigan football program announced the hiring of Josh Gattis late last week, the new offensive coordinator for the Wolverines didn’t officially sign on the dotted line until Monday.

But according to Nick Baumgardner of the Detroit Free Press, the deal between Gattis and Michigan football is now finalized and it’s going to be a three-year contract that could pay Gattis upwards of $4.1 million.

According to Baumgardner, Gattis is going to make a base salary of $900,000 this season to go along with a $200,000 signing bonus and a potential bonus of $400,00 if team incentives and offensive goals outlined by Jim Harbaugh are met.
