J.J. McCarthy wasn’t alone when he visited Ann Arbor this weekend and announced his commitment to Michigan football. He traveled with another Illinois native and the No. 1 player out of the state for the 2020 class, receiver A.J. Henning.
Henning, who was thought to be leaning toward Notre Dame, hinted at a Michigan commitment shortly after McCarthy made his decision.
Congrats brother … looks like I’m next #GoBlue
247Sports Allen Trieu had this to say about Henning.
Compact build. Not a kid who stands out on the hoof, but has a well-developed upper and lower body.
