For most of the season, the talk about the quarterback position at Michigan football has been centered on Shea Patterson and Dylan McCaffrey, the top two guys on the depth chart.
But after a 2-1 start and a disastrous 35-14 loss to Wisconsin Saturday, fans are clamoring for a change. The only problem is that McCaffrey is out with a concussion, following a brutal hit by a Wisconsin defender and it might be a while before he’s back.
That essentially leaves Michigan football with Patterson as the starter. Unless Jim Harbaugh and Josh Gattis are ready to turn things over to Joe Milton, which is something the redshirt freshman is advocating for according to Gattis via Maize and Brew:
