Just before winter turned to spring last year, Anthony Campanile reflected on his decision to leave the East Coast and join Michigan football as its new linebackers coach.
“I think it is really difficult,” the New Jersey native said in March. “More so leaving guys that you love coaching.”
Less than 10 months later, Campanile is packing his bags again. On Wednesday, a source told the Free Press the Miami Dolphins hired the 37-year-old Campanile as an assistant.
Campanile’s tenure in Ann Arbor lasted 370 days – a term so brief that it would be impossible to determine the impact he made on the program.
