The Michigan football team has landed in South Africa, and they wasted no time soaking in the culture at the southern tip of the country.
The team, per the team's Twitter account, visited Cape Town, the country's legislative capital, to open their trip Saturday, and there they took in the limitless views of the South Atlantic Ocean atop Signal Hill, a local landmark and flat-topped hill.
They then got a quick history lesson from Albie Sachs, an activist and former judge in the Constitutional Court of South Africa, before finishing the evening with some traditional local cuisine, music and dancing.
