Michigan football hopes to rekindle Louisiana magic with RB Kyle Edwards

Despite not signing a prospect from Louisiana since bringing in former wide receiver Drew Dileo in 2010, Michigan football still has a relatively rich history in recruiting the running back position within the state.

The Wolverines won a national title behind the efforts of natives Chris Howard and Anthony Thomas in 1997 and Leroy Hoard remains one of the program's best backs in the last 50 years.
