Four-star receiver Xavier Worthy, who committed to the Wolverines in July, announced Wednesday afternoon that he would sign with U-M over Alabama.
Worthy had paid his own way to Tuscaloosa to watch the Crimson Tide's win over Auburn.
That provided Alabama with an opportunity to flip one of Michigan's top recruits. Ultimately, Worthy chose to sign with U-M during the early signing period — a significant win for the Wolverines.
