Michigan football hires first-ever woman grad assistant football coach at major college

Michigan football has hired what is believed to be a first in major college athletics.

Jim Harbaugh has added Milan Bolden-Morris to his staff as a graduate assistant coach working with quarterbacks.

Bolden-Morris, who just finished her college basketball career at Georgetown, is the first woman to be a grad assistant at a Power Five football team.

“I have always believed in providing opportunities for individuals who are passionate about football and Mimi is someone who has shown that drive to become a football coach,” Harbaugh said in a statement released by the school.
