It was hard to know what to expect from Michigan football against Western Michigan, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Well, as we watch the Wolverines battle the Broncos Saturday, it didn’t take long to get an answer.
After an opening punt, Karan Higdon ripped off a 43-yard run, which set up Shea Patterson’s first touchdown pass as the starting quarterback of Michigan football, hitting Sean McKeon for a 17-yard touchdown pass.
It took some tight-rope walking by the tight end, but he got in and ultimately, the call of touchdown was upheld.
