The Michigan football team will head out on a safari next spring.
After weeks of hinting at it, head coach Jim Harbaugh said he's decided on South Africa for his team's spring 2019 trip, he revealed Monday on Ann Arbor's WTKA 1050-AM.
"We're going to Africa," Harbaugh said. "We're going to Johannesburg and Cape Town. We're going to do a safari."
The news comes just two weeks after the Wolverines returned from a six-night, seven-day trip to France, one that included several stops in Paris and a full day spent in Normandy.
A total cost for the trip has not yet been disclosed, but Harbaugh revealed University of Michigan alums Bobby Kotick and Don Graham as the mystery donors.
