After half a decade, the Michigan football fanbase had higher expectations for the 2019 season under head coach Jim Harbaugh. Losing in the manner the Wolverines did in Wisconsin was unacceptable and indefensible. But everything that went wrong in Madison has now been righted. No fumbles, no gaping holes on the defensive line, and no more wasting of talent.
While the game was not without mistakes – Shea Patterson threw an interception – the team clicked in a way we haven’t seen before. There was communication, proper pass protection, and most of all, an excellent overall showing from both quarterbacks.
