Michigan won the battle at the line of scrimmage, piling up a season-high 295 rushing yards. The Wolverines set the tone early with a 65-yard touchdown drive on their opening possession; all five plays were runs. The run game propelled U-M to an early 28-point lead — and then the offense shut down.
