Michigan football just landed some help in the trenches.
Former Central Michigan defensive end Mike Danna announced his transfer to U-M on Tuesday afternoon.
Danna is a grad transfer and will be eligible to play immediately in the fall.
This past season, Danna – 6-foot-2 and 257 pounds – compiled 65 tackles (14.0 for loss) with 8.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
He was named to the All-Mid-American Conference first team and was also a member of Pro Football Focus' All-American first team.
