MIAMI -- The Orange Bowl rolled out the carpet for the Michigan football team Sunday night.
As the U-M players, coaches and families arrived at Miami International Airport for Friday's game against Florida State, the bowl committee met them with actual oranges for each and gift bags including an orange neck pillow. Among those greeting them: Obie the Orange Bowl mascot, an array of committee members in orange jackets and a water cannon welcome from fire trucks over the U-M charter plane.
"Good flight, happy to be here," U-M coach Jim Harbaugh said. "Been to Florida many times, glad to be here.
