Michigan football just added a commitment from one of the top players in the class of 2021.
La Grange Park (Ill.) Nazareth Academy quarterback J.J. McCarthy picked the Wolverines during an unofficial visit to Ann Arbor on Saturday.
McCarthy's commitment came during his second trip to Michigan in just over a month. He previously visited on April 6 for U-M's open practice at Michigan Stadium.
McCarthy is regarded as one of the top quarterback prospects in his class.
