Three-star St. John’s College (Washington) defensive back Quinten Johnson announced his commitment to the Wolverines while attending The Opening, a recruiting showcase taking place this weekend in Texas.

Johnson becomes the 19th recruit to join Michigan’s class, which is ranked third in the nation and first in the Big Ten by 247 Sports Composite. According to 247Sports, he is the No. 470 recruit in the nation and the fourth-best prospect from D.C.

With Johnson’s decision, the Wolverines have secured nine commitments in their 2019 class since June 22.
