Michigan football has added its 16th member of the 2021 recruiting class.
Suffield Academy (Conn.) four-star defensive end Kechaun Bennett made his commitment to join the Wolverines, he announced Wednesday night on Twitter.
He is rated the No. 329 overall recruit, No. 21 strong-side defensive end and the top player in Connecticut, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. His primary recruiters are defensive line coach Shaun Nua and defensive coordinator Don Brown.
Coach Jim Harbaugh has been after the 6-foot-4, 220-pound prospect since offering him in February 2019, which was Bennett's first Division I offer.
