The feeling after last week’s home opener was overwhelmingly positive. Michigan football‘s defense absolutely demolished Oregon State, and the offense (particularly on the ground) looked better than it has in years. It was hard to find a negative. The Wolverines easily beat a bad team. It might not have been impressive in the long run, but it was a welcomed sight after seeing the team struggle in easy matchups like this in years past.
Even with another win on Saturday, the Wolverines looked much less impressive.
Michigan was in control for the entire game, but overall it looked weaker.
