Michigan football running back Tru Wilson stood out enough in spring practices to earn praise from head coach Jim Harbaugh. Evidently, he’s done the same through fall camp. Tuesday morning, Harbaugh named Wilson the No. 3 running back, behind Karan Higdon and Chris Evans, who the team views as co-starters.
"He's done a great job, yeah,” Harbaugh said on his weekly teleconference. “I would say he's risen to No. 3.”
The former walk-on – Wilson was one of four players to earn a scholarship earlier this week –earned extensive praise from Harbaugh for his all-around game.
"He's just really improved, in every area.
