Michigan football formally adds Quinten Johnson, 2019 class ranked No. 8

The final piece to Michigan football's 2019 recruiting class has been finalized.

Quinten Johnson, a 4-star safety from Washington St. John's College High School, was formally announced as the 26th member of the Wolverines' class on Wednesday.

Johnson had an official ceremony at his high school on signing day.

U-M formally processed national letters of intent for 25 players during the early signing period in December and spent most of the January contact period meeting with committed prospects and getting a head start on 2020 recruiting.

The Wolverines aren't likely to add any other prep prospects to their 2019 class, though Michigan is in the graduate transfer market — notably on the defensive line.
