Free Press columnist Shawn Windsor answers three questions after Michigan football's 40-21 win over Middle Tennessee State on Saturday night in Ann Arbor:
What do you make of the two quarterback sets?
Um, not much. Though it’s not hard to understand why Jim Harbaugh wants to get Dylan McCaffrey on the field even though Shea Patterson is the clear starter. Patterson played reasonably well Saturday night. He missed some throws in the third quarter and lost his rhythm, but he threw enough deep balls to suggest he’ll run Josh Gattis’ new system fluidly.
