Michigan football entered the offseason with serious depth questions on its defensive front, both inside and out, and it looked in-state to fill at least one of those voids.
The Wolverines added former Central Michigan defensive end Mike Danna, who last week was voted CMU's most valuable player of 2018. Danna's a graduate transfer, which means he'll immediately be eligible for the Wolverines.
Danna's also what most call an "up-transfer," meaning he's leaving a lower level of football for better competition after a stellar campaign.
