Michigan sophomore fullback Ben Mason has seen his spring football session come to a close with a meniscus tear that will require surgery.
Mason, the favorite to start at fullback this season for the Wolverines, will miss the rest of spring ball and will be out about a month and a half after suffering a knee injury.
