Losing to Ohio State has to be getting old for the Michigan football program. The Wolverines have just one win this decade over the Buckeyes and just two over the team from Ohio dating back to 2003.
John Navarre and Denard Robinson were the last two starting quarterbacks to beat Ohio State. That’s kind of crazy when you think about it. Of course, Urban Meyer’s arrival in Columbus has only tilted things further in the direction of Ohio State. Michigan football, despite getting Jim Harbaugh, doesn’t seem to be closing the gap. Not enough anyway.
One reason for that is recruiting.
