Michigan football‘s head coach, Jim Harbaugh, appeared the podium at Schembechler Hall on Labor Day overly optimistic about this 2019 squad.
“They played good, especially (offensive tackle) Ryan Hayes. He was offensive player of the game.” Jim stated.
While Hayes did play exceptionally well, he is supposed to be the future of Michigan athletics and not the present. He stepped up on onto the field for the injured Jon Runyan Jr, who was supposed to start on the left side of the line.
There were other supposed moments.
