Michigan Football: Early June recruiting news and updates

Jim Harbaugh is always trying to find an edge in his recruiting game. We’ve seen him sleep on a recruit’s floor, climb a tree, and attend high school classes in hopes of landing the next great Michigan Football player. Now Harbaugh may have outdone himself by offering an eighth grader a scholarship.

Tyler Martin may be five years away from college, but he already knows Michigan is deeply invested in him as a football player. The 6’3″, 227 pound linebacker plays for Buckingham Browne & Nichols School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Martin, who is likely just 13 years of age, announced the offer on his Twitter page last week.
