The Michigan football team has had quite a few players transfer since the end of last season but in just about every instance, the departure hasn’t been a big deal.
Surprisingly, on Thursday, Michigan football got wind of another player that is leaving and that’s the son of former Wolverines great and current assistant coach Tyrone Wheatley. Tyrone Wheatley Jr., who was going to be a redshirt junior this season, announced his decision to leave the program the day before camp was slated to begin.
The University of Michigan put out a statement and then just like that, Wheatley Jr.
