Michigan football fourth-year junior defensive lineman Reuben Jones has entered the transfer portal.
Jones confirmed the news to the Free Press on Monday night, after entering the portal earlier in the day. He plans to finish his degree at Michigan in May. Once he graduates, he will be eligible for a graduate transfer, meaning he would be eligible to play in 2019.
A 6-foot-4, 250-pounder from Lakeland, Florida, Jones was a member of Michigan's 2015 recruiting class — the first coach Jim Harbaugh put together at Michigan. Jones was a late add in the class and came to college as a possible linebacker prospect, before switching to the defensive line.
