For Michigan football, June is typically a successful month on the recruiting trail.
Over the past two summers, the Wolverines have hosted a large contingent of visitors during the second-to-last weekend in June, thanks to a relatively new rule that allows prospects to take official visits before their senior year.
The strategy has worked well: Michigan landed over a dozen commitments in the 2019 and 2020 classes because of that weekend. Last summer, director of recruiting Matt Dudek sent the fanbase into a tizzy when he tweeted a motif representing an impending commitment eight times on June 23.
