Cincinnati has a new fastest man in town.
The Bengals drafted former Michigan defensive back DJ Turner No. 60 overall on Friday in the second round of the NFL Draft. The 5-foot-11, 178-pound cornerback ran the fastest 40-yard dash (4.26 seconds) at the NFL combine last month, which was the fourth fastest recorded time at the event since 2003.
Turner ranked No. 2 on the athleticism scale among all defensive backs invited to the combine and finished No. 4 overall; both aspects which helped his stock rise the past two months from mid-second rounder to top 30 selection.
