Momentum means everything in college football, both on the field and in recruiting and in both areas, things have not been going well lately for Michigan football.
First, there was the loss to Ohio State, which ended any hopes Michigan football had of winning the Big Ten Championship or making the College Football Playoff. And now, on the recruiting trail, the Wolverines have been dealt another crushing blow as the top commit in their 2019 class, Daxton Hill, has flipped to Alabama.
Hill announced the news on his Twitter account Saturday, in what is clearly a severe blow to the strength of the Wolverines recruiting class.
