Jim Harbaugh's offseason podcasts have, for the most part, centered around conversations with the parents of his incoming 2019 football recruits.
This week featured the highest-rated recruit: 5-star safety Daxton Hill.
More:
Hill, perhaps the fastest player in the 2019 recruiting class out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, signed with Michigan in December after a bit of a short-lived whirlwind that featured a brief commitment to Alabama.
But the No. 1-ranked safety in the country will be a Wolverine. And Harbaugh hopes that happens as soon as humanly possible.
"I'd like to lobby for a second here for that June 1 date," Harbaugh said on his podcast this week with a laugh during a conversation with Hill's parents, Tia and Derrick Hill.
