Michigan Football dances past Northwestern despite sloppy performance

Michigan Football (4-1) faced its second road test of the season on Saturday and came out victorious despite an inconsistent performance. The Wolverines defeated the Northwestern Wild Cats 20-17 and it was close until the very end.

Michigan has many problems that need to be addressed, but the most alarming issue was their penalty numbers. The Wolverines committed 11 penalties for 100 yards and it just seemed like they were being flagged on almost every play.

Much like they’re first road game, the Wolverines dug themselves into an early hole, and trailed 17-0 in the second quarter.
