When you look at the Michigan football team, maybe no player has created higher expectations but produced less than Tarik Black, a second-year wide receiver for the Wolverines.
Of course, much of the reason for Black’s lack of production has been injuries. After an explosive start to the 2017 season, including a 46-yard touchdown reception against Florida, Black has dealt with two broken feet. The first caused him to miss most of 2017 and the second forced him out of most of 2018.
Even when Black came back for the Michigan State game, he really wasn’t the same.
