Michigan football’s Sherrone Moore has once again been brought up in head coaching conversations, but this time at Northwestern. After the awful hazing allegations broke the news, it was only a matter of time before Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald would be fired.
Northwestern had a tremendous season in 2020, in which they were ranked in the top 10 and close to upsetting Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship, however, they have completely fallen off since. In 2022, Northwestern went 1-11, and there isn’t really much to be excited about.
Steve Wiltfong was quick to tweet that Sherrone Moore should be one of the first calls Northwestern makes, and he would be a home run hire for Northwestern.
