There’s a reason smart quarterbacks in the NFL will take a pay cut or settle for a lesser contract in favor of his team signing some highly coveted – and potentially pricy – beefy giants to protect life and limb. There’s also a reason why the signal-caller will gift his big men lavish gifts at the end of a season. In college, the QB may not be able to afford such expensive gifts, but they show their O-line gratitude and respect and with the line being such a concern for Michigan football next season, it’s crazy there’s so much concentration on QB and almost nothing for a group that’s replacing four of the starters.
