When Matthew Hibner, a tight end from the 2020 class first committed to Michigan football, it wasn’t a move that necessarily made waves.
He was a three-star prospect at the time and barely ranked inside the top 1,000 of the 247 sports rankings. But since his commitment and with a really strong season, he has risen steadily.
First, he climbed about 800 spots and moved into the range of being a four-star, which was a nice thing to see. However, in the recent release of the 247 rankings, he climbed even higher and moved into the top 200.
